When I’m not behind the lens, I'm usually watching a good Rom-Com, listening to an encouraging podcast, or sweating it out at the gym. Fun fact: I saw snow for the first time at 25 years old! I rebranded, started over, and launched thelenscollective.co. God deepened my passion to serve businesses get seen, known, and booked, and this became the year both clients flew in to work with me and I traveled to work with brands. It all started as just a girl with a camera that turned wanting to see women in business win.
I launched digital products but they weren't much success. For the first time, I began capturing brand sessions for small businesses and female founders. By Fall, I felt stuck, I had outgrown what I built and knew I was being led toward something bigger.
I began working with dream brands like ResortPass, PR agencies, and managing social media for local hospitality businesses. Invited to events by brands like Hard Rock Cafe and Hilton Hotels, a clear sign that my work was being seen and trusted.
After much prayer and thinking about my future self, I made the decision to leave my 9–5 after more than six years in healthcare. God made it clear that I was being called into something deeper, with greater purpose.
I upgraded from my high school camera to my first mirrorless camera, a moment I still remember so clearly. My husband surprised me one evening in September, his way of believing in me and showing his support.
The beginning, I knew I wanted something more, so I decided to launch SouthFloWithFran, a lifestyle blog sharing South Florida restaurants and staycations. I built my first website, learned how to create and post content, and invested in my first online course, not knowing what I was doing, but start anyways. And it was the foundation for everything that came next.
